Born 3 September 1955 in Shepherd's Bush, London.
Original member and guitarist of the Sex Pistols.
He formed The Strand, the band that would become the Pistols, with drummer Paul Cook.
In addition to his solo work, he also performs with The Professionals, Checkered Past, and Neurotic Outsiders.
Ranked 97th in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.
He currently lives in Los Angeles. His book, "Lonely Boy," was published in 2016 and is being adapted into a TV series directed by Danny Boyle (scheduled to air in 2022).
