[THE BEATLES x Japanese Traditional Crafts] Official collaboration with The Beatles. Size: Height 19cm, Width 7cm, Depth 7cm. Weight: 320g. *This is a black kokeshi doll. *This product is only available in one style, and the images show the front and back. Kokeshi, a traditional Japanese craft, originated in the Edo period. It is said to have been created to express wishes for physical and mental recovery, bountiful harvests, and the growth of children. Usaburo Kokeshi is a creative kokeshi workshop located in Shinto Village, Gunma Prefecture. Usaburo Kokeshi is characterized by its free-form designs that utilize the wood's grain and texture. Furthermore, all of the wood used for Usaburo Kokeshi is harvested from local forests in Gunma Prefecture, primarily dogwood, known for its white bark and beautiful grain. Starting with the origin of creative kokeshi, the "bob-haired kokeshi," kokeshi that reflect the seasons, such as Santa and Hina dolls, and character kokeshi, these new, unconventional designs are popular not only in Japan but also overseas.
