[THE BEATLES x Japanese Traditional Crafts] Official collaboration with The Beatles
Color: Navy blue (indigo dye)
From the Edo period through to the Meiji period, this area, formerly known as Bushu, was suitable for cultivating indigo and cotton.
Due to its deep color, durability, and density, its tradition and value as a material for kendo uniforms has remained unchanged since the company's founding.
As the only producer of materials for kendo uniforms in Japan, we continue to protect "Bushu Raw Indigo Dyeing."
We produce our fabric using the skein dyeing technique, which involves dyeing bundles of thread.
This technique involves repeatedly dipping the thread in liquid, squeezing it, and unraveling it.
It takes about three months to complete, but we spare no effort and value creating products that have a warm feeling.
