Michael Jackson biopic "Michael" to be released in Japan in June 2026

The much talked about Michael Jackson biopic "Michael," brought to you by the producers of "Bohemian Rhapsody" and the director of "Training Day," has been announced to be released in Japan in June 2026 !

The role of Michael Jackson was played by Michael's real-life nephew, Jafar Jackson, and the film will be directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, The Equalizer series), produced by Academy Award-winning Graham King (Bohemian Rhapsody), and written by three-time Academy Award-nominated John Logan.

The film will explore the transcendental life of Michael Jackson, tracing his journey from the moment his extraordinary talent was discovered as part of the Jackson 5 to his relentless pursuit of becoming the world's greatest entertainer, driven by creative ambition.
