Born June 29, 1951.
Graduated from Waseda University's Faculty of Political Science and Economics.
He joined Toshiba EMI and began producing jazz records and CDs in the 1980s, mainly for Blue Note/Somethin' Else.
He has also edited and published many books on jazz.
He also translates subtitles for books and movies, and works as a radio DJ.
From 1999 to 2013, Toshiba EMI ~ EMI Music Japan ~ Universal Music
It oversees the domestic release of Beatles albums, including "The Beatles 1."
The last Chairman and CEO of EMI Music Japan.
He passed away on March 13, 2020 at the age of 68.
