In times like these, we need X JAPAN! This is a special feature in the style of a "X JAPAN fan book" by Headbang, where we share our love and desire for X JAPAN with our enthusiastic fans, our "community of destiny"!
The main feature is a special issue on X JAPAN, full of love and lust for X JAPAN, which can be considered a sequel to the hugely popular special issue of X's "Jealousy" in "Headbang" Vol. 30, which commemorates the 30th anniversary of the magazine!
January 2022 marks 30 years since the legendary X Tokyo Dome 3-day concert "Towards Ruin", and X JAPAN's activities have been suspended since 2018... so we decided to focus on the X era... This is the first volume of an "X JAPAN fan book" that will be shared with the "community of destiny" who are X JAPAN's enthusiastic fans, with a total of 50,000 characters of reminiscence interviews with three people who were most closely involved with "the five of them at that time", and love and respect for all the "music" that X JAPAN has created, especially in times like these! It will be the first volume of an "X JAPAN fan book" that will be shared with the "community of destiny" who are X JAPAN's enthusiastic fans, with a focus on the complete discography of all 39 works that X JAPAN has released.
In addition...KOЯN is the pioneer and leader of 'New Metal', which became the central genre of metal after the 90s. We have an interview with the frontman and charismatic Jonathan Davis that is over 10,000 characters long, and now that a wide variety of "girl rock bands" have appeared in recent years, we want to convey the extremely unique "sound" of "girl rock bands" in our own way! With that in mind, we have thoroughly reviewed 44 masterpieces by "girl rock bands" from the 70s to the present. The first issue of 2022, Vol. 33 of "Headbang" will be even more intense than usual!
