[THE BEATLES x Japanese Traditional Crafts] Official collaboration with The Beatles. Size: 5cm high, 5cm wide, 5cm deep. Weight: 50g. Shirakawa Daruma Sohonpo has been cherishing each and every customer for nearly 300 years and has been loved by local residents. Shirakawa Daruma dolls were created as lucky charms, inspired by Matsudaira Sadanobu, famous for the Kansei Reforms, who wanted to "improve the lives of citizens." Since ancient times, whenever people wished for something—whether it be for family health, business prosperity, high school or university entrance exams, or election success—the Shirakawa Daruma has always been there, supporting people's dreams and hopes. The Shirakawa Daruma's most distinctive feature is its face, which depicts the crane, turtle, pine, bamboo, and plum, symbols of good fortune. Its design is said to have been created by the famous artist Tani Buncho. It is customary to first fill in the left eye of the Daruma doll when making a wish, and then fill in the right eye once it is fulfilled. (C) 2024 Apple Corps Ltd. A Beatles (TM) Product
