[THE BEATLES x Japanese Traditional Crafts] Official collaboration with the Beatles Size: Height 55cm, Width 50cm, Depth 45cm Weight: 3kg *This is a "white" Daruma. Shirakawa Daruma Sohonpo has been loved by locals for about 300 years, caring for each and every customer. Shirakawa Daruma was born as a lucky charm that brings good luck, inspired by Matsudaira Sadanobu, famous for the Kansei Reforms, who wanted to "make the lives of citizens more energetic." Since ancient times, when people wish for something, such as the health of their family, the prosperity of their company, passing high school or university entrance exams, or winning an election, Shirakawa Daruma has always been there, supporting people's dreams and hopes. The biggest feature of Shirakawa Daruma is that the "crane, turtle, pine, bamboo, and plum," which are symbols of good luck, are depicted on its face, and the design is said to have been done by the famous painter Tani Buncho. In addition, when making a wish, there is a custom of first filling the left eye of the Daruma, and then filling the right eye when the wish is fulfilled. (C) 2024 Apple Corps Ltd.
