The cover and lead feature is DIR EN GREY, who will be the first Japanese artist to appear on the cover of Headbang, following BABYMETAL, X JAPAN, and Ningen Isu! DIR EN GREY released their 11th album "PHALARIS" on June 15th, and we'll feature them on the cover and lead feature in color for about 90 pages titled "The World of DIR EN GREY"! Five interviews with 10,000 characters each for each of the five members, including newly taken gravure photos, total 56 pages of interviews with 50,000 characters! Each of the five members will talk about their thoughts on the album "PHALARIS" and behind-the-scenes stories from the production! We'll also have an interview with the music video director, an album guide, and more, building up the "World of DIR EN GREY" with the overwhelming density of Headbang style!
Also, Alissa White-Gluz, the charismatic female lead vocalist of ARCH ENEMY, a metal band that enjoys overwhelming support in Japan, will be appearing again in "Headbang"! She will be talking mainly about her new album "Deceivers" to be released in August. Other features include a thorough report on a two-man live performance by the two most powerful girls' metal bands today, NEMOPHILA, and the loud idol group PassCode, who successfully performed at the Budokan, an interview with BORIS, who are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, and NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST explaining "metalcore", and more.
