[THE BEATLES x Japanese Traditional Crafts] Official collaboration with The Beatles Size: Height 9cm, width 5cm, depth 5cm Weight: 100g *This is a black kokeshi doll. *There is only one type of product, and the images show the front and back. Kokeshi dolls, a traditional Japanese craft, originated in the Edo period. It is said that they were created to express wishes for physical and mental recovery, bountiful harvests, and the growth of children. Usaburo Kokeshi is a creative Kokeshi workshop located in Shinto Village, Gunma Prefecture. Usaburo Kokeshi dolls are characterized by their free designs that make use of the wood grain and texture and are not limited by shape. Furthermore, all of the wood used to make Usaburo Kokeshi dolls is sourced from local forests in Gunma Prefecture, and is mainly dogwood, which has white bark and beautiful grain. New designs that are not bound by convention, such as the bob-haired kokeshi, the origin of creative kokeshi, kokeshi that allow you to feel the four seasons, such as Santa and Hina dolls, and kokeshi with characters, are popular not only in Japan but also with people overseas.
